FINALLY

Let's just blame the lack of new posts on my recent creative drought. It was rough, but I think it's mostly over. Finally getting back into the swing of things. Anyways, here are some pics of the setup. There's now a cassette recorder in the mix too, but you can just imagine that since its not in the photos.

Also, I made a myspace for music. If you think the blog is bad, I'm an even worse myspacer. There's only one song on there and its pretty old, but it should give you an example of the creative genius behind the newer stuff.



I recently started playing drums for a local kid who messes with a loop pedal and some coon-ass rock attitude lol. Drumming is the only thing musically I've ever been proficient at, so its alot of fun to get back into it. nothing serious though.

I think thats all for now. I'll post soon with some new pics and an overview of an upcoming audio/video project I'm working towards.

So, just to catch everybody up, my name is benjamin. I currently live in Ruston, Louisiana. I am an art student (though currently out of school til next quarter) at Louisiana Tech Uni. I do art and make music and spend entirely too much time alone doing such things. But now its (kindof) a public affair! My current musical setup is a 1978 Hammond Sound Simulator1 played through a Boss RE-20 Space Echo (analog delay), a Zoom 505 effect processor guitar pedal (lol), and a BOSS distortion. I keep a snare and floor tom to my right, so i can play basic percussion with my right hand while i keep my left hand to the keyboards and my feet to the organ's pedals. I also keep a guitar nearby. Pics of the setup coming soon. I am still experimenting with the setup, and hope to incorporate a Dr. Sample sp-303 sampler to the mix in the next few weeks. anyways, thats enough for now. if you keep up with the blog in the future, I will have more interesting things for you to read about.
